X (ex Twitter) filters

Has an Active Twitter Account

What It Is: The "Has Active Twitter Account" filter checks whether a token's official Twitter (X) account is active. For an account to be considered active, it must have the following guidelines:

  • It must exist (some projects provide a link that does not exist or has been deleted)

  • Should not be suspended (some project accounts violate the X rules and are suspended)

  • It should not be temporarily restricted

  • Must have at least one follower

  • You must have at least one post

We are also checking that the account is not using a fake Twitter link that is not connected to the selected token (a warning is added for these tokens). We do this by checking how many projects have the same Twitter account, the similarity of the handle to the project name, and the large number of followers.

More checks will be added (last posts, number of posts in last N days, post sentiment, engagement).

Why It's Cool: This filter helps you quickly identify whether a token’s team maintains an active presence on Twitter, one of the most influential platforms in the crypto world. An active Twitter account is crucial for communicating with investors, sharing updates, engaging with the community, and building credibility.

What to Pay Attention To:

  • Consistency of Posts: An active account isn’t just about existing and regularly posting updates. Frequent posts indicate that the team is engaged with the community and working on the project. Look for consistent communication rather than just sporadic or infrequent updates.

  • Content Quality: Pay attention to the nature of the posts. Are they informative and professional, providing valuable updates and technical insights and engaging with followers? Or are they mostly promotional and hype-driven? High-quality content can indicate a well-managed project that values transparency.

  • Engagement Metrics: Look beyond the account's existenceβ€”examine how well it engages with its audience. High engagement (likes, retweets, comments) suggests a responsive community and can be a sign of strong investor interest.

  • Response to Criticism and Questions: An active Twitter account should address community questions and concerns. The team's response to criticism can be a strong indicator of its professionalism and commitment to the project.

  • Security and Authenticity: If possible, ensure the account is verified or at least clearly linked to the official project website. Beware of fake or copycat accounts, which are common in crypto and can mislead investors.

  • Alerts for Suspensions or Restrictions: Even if an account is active now, past suspensions or restrictions could be red flags indicating issues with compliance, behavior, or security. Monitoring the account’s standing can help avoid risks associated with poorly managed or controversial projects.

Total Number of Twitter Posts

What It Is: The "Total Number of Twitter Posts" filter shows the total number of tweets made by the token's official Twitter (X) account. This metric provides insight into how actively the project engages with its audience on one of the most influential social media platforms in crypto.

Why It's Cool: This filter helps you assess the project's team's activity level and communication. A higher number of posts typically indicates that the team is active, regularly updates followers, engages with the community, and is committed to maintaining a visible presence. This can boost confidence in the project and keep the community informed about developments, partnerships, and other important updates.

The change of posts in intervals will be added in the future.

Telegram filters

Telegram is a popular platform for cryptocurrency communities, where investors, developers, and enthusiasts gather to discuss projects, share updates, and build a following.

Number of Telegram Members

The "Number of Telegram Members" filter tracks the members in the official Telegram group for a specific token. The filter helps you evaluate the strength and vitality of a token’s community, which is a crucial factor in the long-term success of many cryptocurrency projects.

Why It's Cool: This filter gives you direct insight into a token's community's size and potential influence. A larger Telegram group often indicates a strong, engaged community, which can be crucial for the token's success. Through coordinated actions or organic growth, community support can drive awareness, adoption, and even the token's price.

What to Pay Attention To:

  • Growth Rate: Beyond just the number of members, consider how quickly the Telegram group grows. Rapid growth could signal increasing interest in the token, possibly due to upcoming news, a successful marketing campaign, or positive developments in the project. Use the Change in Telegram Members filter to detect changes. The history data can be seen in the token detail view under the social category.

  • Engagement vs. Size: A large group isn't always a sign of a healthy community. Pay attention to the level of engagement within the group. Are members actively participating in discussions, or is the group filled with spam or inactive users? High engagement is often a better indicator of a strong community than sheer numbers.

  • Authenticity of Members: Be wary of artificially inflated member counts. Some projects might boost their numbers with fake or bot accounts to appear more popular than they are. Look for signs of genuine activity and avoid placing too much emphasis on numbers alone. Check for big spikes in number of members in a short time.

  • Community Sentiment: The tone and sentiment within the Telegram group can provide valuable insights into how the community feels about the project. Are the discussions positive, with members excited about the future? Or is there dissatisfaction or concern being voiced? Understanding the community’s mood can help you gauge the potential risks and rewards. We plan to add sentiment detection for groups in the future.

Shillers filters

Our shillers data can be used even when searching for specific tokens. You can use the shillers filters as any other filter (and, of course, with them). If you want to learn more about shillers, check out our shillers page.

New shiller calls are added in real-time.

Total Number of Shillers

The "Total Number of Shillers" filter tracks the number of people promoting a specific token on social media platforms like Telegram and Twitter. A "shiller" refers to someone who actively endorses or hypes up a token, often to their followers. This filter allows users to identify tokens that influencers are heavily promoting quickly.

Why It's Cool: This filter is powerful because it helps you gauge the potential impact of social media hype on a token's price and market behavior. If multiple influencers are shilling a token, it can indicate growing interest and potentially lead to increased buying pressure. This can be especially useful for identifying early opportunities before the broader market catches on.

What to Pay Attention To:

  • Quality vs. Quantity: While a higher number of shillers might indicate strong promotion, it's important to consider the quality of these shillers. Are they reputable influencers or merely accounts with little credibility? High-quality shillers can have a more significant impact on a token’s value. Check our shillers dashboard to find out the rankings. Then, use the Shilled By filter to select the desired shillers.

  • Timing of Shilling: Pay attention to when the shillings were happening. Was it during a token launch or later? The timing can affect whether the token is a good buy or might already be overhyped. The social section in the tokens detail view can help you with this. Use the Number of Shillers in the Interval filter to get the shills for a selected interval.

  • Potential for Pump and Dump: Be cautious of tokens with a sudden surge in shillers, as this might indicate a pump-and-dump scheme where the token is artificially inflated in price before it’s sold off rapidly. Always combine this filter with other filters to ensure you're not just following a short-term trend.

  • Market Context: Consider the broader market conditions. Even if a token has many shillers, external factors like market downturns can affect its price regardless of the hype.

When used wisely, this filter can be an excellent tool for spotting potentially lucrative tokens early on. However, it should always be used with other filters to make informed decisions.

Number of Shillers in Interval

The number of shillers for the token in the selected time range.

Shilled By

The name of the Telegram channel that shilled the token (If multiple filters are selected, the token must be shilled by at least one of the selected channels).

Days Since Latest Shill

The "Days Since Latest Shill" filter tracks how many days have passed since the last time an influencer promoted (or "shilled") a token on platforms like Telegram or Twitter. A "shill" refers to a public endorsement or promotion of a token, usually aimed at driving interest and increasing its market activity.

Why It's Cool: This filter helps you understand the current level of attention a token receives from influencers. A recent shill might signal a surge in interest and upcoming price action. You can use this field as a sort value to receive the latest alerts for selected shillers.

Here is an example of getting all the latest tokens shilled by selected shillers (the selected shillers are only an example) and minimum liquidity of $ 80,000$.

First Time Shilled By

The name of the influencer (Twitter account, Telegram Channel) that was the first one to shill the token.
