# Build your first advanced signal bot

{% hint style="danger" %}
Before trading any token, you should be aware of many scams.
{% endhint %}

Blokiments provides intuitive yet powerful filters designed to help you craft high-performing strategies—we call them "strategies," but their ultimate purpose is to **serve as signals for your trades**. In this step-by-step tutorial, we'll guide you through the entire process.

The full guide is available here, though we recommend completing this tutorial before diving into the full version.

## Step 0: Create a Blokiments account

To use this feature, you must create a Blokiments account—it’s free. **You can** [**sign up here**](https://blokiments.com/register)**.**

## Step 1: Select the filters for your signals

Open the main [Blokiments dashboard](https://blokiments.com/discoveryHub) (we will call it Discovery Hub from now on) and choose the pro mode in the right corner.&#x20;

<figure><img src="https://2879018326-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FHViSlgaEZ0z9gsZW7Rm1%2Fuploads%2FhIeaEEIxeFRXdu5p7tM0%2Fimage.png?alt=media&#x26;token=2c7287ce-84cd-4191-8781-ca9da8c7df29" alt=""><figcaption><p>Disccovery Hub</p></figcaption></figure>

After switching to Pro Mode, clear any currently selected filters—now you're ready to start building your signal strategy. Your screen should look something like this:

<figure><img src="https://2879018326-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FHViSlgaEZ0z9gsZW7Rm1%2Fuploads%2FOztzArzzPqF0xzqxuXKb%2Fimage.png?alt=media&#x26;token=afa73aa9-a122-4575-b68f-35e259abda30" alt=""><figcaption><p>The dashboard after cleaning the filters.</p></figcaption></figure>

This page gives you access to over [70 filters](https://docs.blokiments.com/features/discovery-hub/filters-guide) across various categories, allowing you to craft highly targeted trading signals.

Let’s walk through an example using the **Solana** network (one of our [supported networks](https://docs.blokiments.com/roadmap-and-releases/supported-networks)). We’ll apply the following filters to identify tokens that meet specific criteria:

* Minimum **$30,000 in liquidity**
* **Market cap** over **$500,000**
* At least **two smart money wallets** interacting with the token in the past 24 hours *(learn more about how we classify smart money wallets* [*here*](https://docs.blokiments.com/features/smart-money-analysis#how-do-we-calculate-smart-money-wallets)*)*
* A **total smart money volume** of more than **$2,000**
* At least **1 KOL wallet** is buying the token
* The token should be **mentioned in at least one calling group**
* Finally, we’ll **sort results by token creation time (ascending)** to be alerted in real time as new tokens match these criteria.

{% hint style="warning" %}
This setup is just an example to demonstrate our system's flexibility and potential. Feel free to customize the filters to suit your trading strategy and preferences.
{% endhint %}

<figure><img src="https://2879018326-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FHViSlgaEZ0z9gsZW7Rm1%2Fuploads%2FuUelYv04AmoUjUzDe5gs%2Fimage.png?alt=media&#x26;token=38e28bf2-4bbe-40eb-b812-c46f620eb51d" alt=""><figcaption><p>A filter setup example.</p></figcaption></figure>

Now we’re ready to click the **Apply Filters** button. This will display tokens that currently match your selected criteria.

If no results appear, don’t worry—it simply means no tokens meet your conditions at the moment. Depending on the specificity or broadness of your settings, new tokens matching your filters may appear.

<figure><img src="https://2879018326-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FHViSlgaEZ0z9gsZW7Rm1%2Fuploads%2FJdTsDp4khWBbHG9qUoEc%2FScreenshot%202025-05-10%20225620.png?alt=media&#x26;token=35b157f6-9d70-48de-b450-febad5c6a5da" alt=""><figcaption><p>Apply the filters.</p></figcaption></figure>

Clicking on a token reveals detailed information, but this is just the beginning of what the Blokiments app can do.

## Step 2: Save the strategy for later reference

In the next step, we’ll save the strategy by clicking the **save icon** located in the top-right corner of the filter configuration panel.

<figure><img src="https://2879018326-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FHViSlgaEZ0z9gsZW7Rm1%2Fuploads%2FIf3K2Vg3njYLp3nmKNx8%2FScreenshot%202025-05-10%20230435.png?alt=media&#x26;token=45055549-1b34-4a33-98a6-1d1821119b25" alt=""><figcaption><p>Saving the strategy.</p></figcaption></figure>

A new pop-up will appear, allowing you to name your signal strategy. You can also add an optional short description to help you remember the filter setup and the reasons behind your choices. Once you're done, click **Create** to save it.

<figure><img src="https://2879018326-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FHViSlgaEZ0z9gsZW7Rm1%2Fuploads%2F2foAstDiVLN1ZtTjzl9b%2Fimage.png?alt=media&#x26;token=62abb42b-29ae-4c48-9926-40b2ace0528e" alt=""><figcaption><p>Save the strategy</p></figcaption></figure>

## Step 3: Get the signals in real-time

The final step in this tutorial is to enable **real-time notifications** for when a new token matches your filter criteria.

{% hint style="info" %}
Note: “New” doesn’t always mean newly created—it refers to any token that wasn’t in the selection at the time of strategy creation but now appears based on your sorting column (e.g., token creation time).
{% endhint %}

You can choose to receive notifications via **Telegram, Discord, or Webhooks**. To set this up, click the **bell icon** located in the top-right corner of the filter configuration panel.

<figure><img src="https://2879018326-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FHViSlgaEZ0z9gsZW7Rm1%2Fuploads%2FuWyqnbwjH7OayoyHXqbl%2Fimage.png?alt=media&#x26;token=3fba63ba-919a-4311-bf2d-7e11f1562a74" alt=""><figcaption><p>Click the bell icon.</p></figcaption></figure>

A new window will pop up, allowing you to choose the destination for your alerts. An alert destination is a specific Telegram group, channel, or Discord channel you’ve set up. You can reuse this destination for multiple alerts across the Blokiments platform.

{% hint style="info" %}
If you’ve already created an alert destination, select your preferred option from the dropdown menu, click **Create**, and you’re all set.
{% endhint %}

Click `Add new destination`:

<figure><img src="https://2879018326-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FHViSlgaEZ0z9gsZW7Rm1%2Fuploads%2F8dp5X2Ht7Vqp1AFRRgPm%2Fimage.png?alt=media&#x26;token=ecd322ab-f65a-4405-b599-998252b43e25" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Let’s create a simple Telegram alert destination using the **Blokiments Notification Bot**. [Follow the tutorial](https://docs.blokiments.com/features/alerts/telegram-alerts#use-blokiments-alerts-bot-directly) to add the destination to your account and receive alerts directly in Telegram.

{% content-ref url="../features/alerts/telegram-alerts" %}
[telegram-alerts](https://docs.blokiments.com/features/alerts/telegram-alerts)
{% endcontent-ref %}

When done, click the **Create** button.

<figure><img src="https://2879018326-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FHViSlgaEZ0z9gsZW7Rm1%2Fuploads%2FWtONUlCnRnCMGDrl3JFm%2Fimage.png?alt=media&#x26;token=420f0517-4a7d-469e-9b59-a25e294b0290" alt=""><figcaption><p>Select the destination you created.</p></figcaption></figure>

That’s it! Now you can sit back and wait for your first signal.

But your strategy offers even more powerful features, such as:

* **Tracking the performance** of tokens found by the strategy
* **Exporting results** to CSV, JSON, or Excel for deeper analysis
* **Sharing your strategy** with the Blokiments community
